About Me

My name is Bob Zomermaand. I am 73 years old and have been married to my wife Janine for 52 years. We have four grown, married daughters who live in various parts of the United States. We have twelve grandchildren. I have been involved in ministry for nearly all of the years we have been married. Over the years I have pastored in Minnesota, New Jersey, Indiana, and Wisconsin. I have planted a new church and cast the vision for a church renewal which has proven fruitful for the Kingdom.

I came to know the Lord as I grew up in my family. My parents were farmers in the days when agriculture was still a major employer in the United States. I have three brothers who are older than I am and a younger sister. Ours was a family where at each mealtime the Bible was read and prayers were offered as my parents taught us to follow the Lord. When I was about 17-18 years of age, I knew God was calling me to be his follower and I surrendered to his call.

My ministry dream is to be able to share the many gifts God has given me of life lessons learned in the front lines of ministry. I want to give encouragement to as many people as I can to be all that God can make them; to encourage people to learn to be great in the Kingdom by developing a servant’s heart and servant’s attitude; to assist others in dealing with the hard realities of ministry as we confront the Evil One and destroy his work in the Name of Jesus.

I taught at Christian Leaders Institute because I believe that I am never done learning about my walk with God. I have always been an avid student, I love to grow in my understanding of God’s Word. I think I will always find something new to absorb from the Word of God day after day.
